Freddie Hudson

Freddie Hudson (2002) discovered his passion for filmmaking firstly through photography in his early teens.

As a dedicated filmmaking student at university, his passion for storytelling and visual artistry drives his creative pursuits. Recently, he had the privilege of shooting a film titled "Walk Upon The Water," which challenged him to push his creative boundaries and collaborate effectively with a diverse team. This project not only refined his abilities in cinematography and direction but also deepened his understanding of the intricate processes involved in bringing a narrative to life.

Freddie's versatile style and approach enable him to work across a range of genres and styles, drawing inspiration from music, documentaries and other talents. His work is recognised for its personal and nostalgic touch, often described as naturalistic and poetic, yet with a keen eye for lighting and textures.

Always evolving, Freddie is motivated to showcase the best visual language for each project, tailoring his ideas to fit the narrative. While he loves experimenting with different genres, he particularly appreciates the poetic side within filmmaking.
